<p>I especially liked this line</p>

<p>“The Wisconsin Alumni Research Foundation, which holds three patents for Thomson’s work, is applying for patents involving his new research, a spokeswoman said. Two of the four genes he used were different from Yamanaka’s recipe.”</p>

<p>In your face California. Still a step behind. ( for those not in the know, California which is planning on spending billions on stem cell research is upset that UW has the key patents and is trying to have them voided. Now they will have another set to worry about.)</p>

<p>Chancellor told us in a meeting last week that WARF’s patents generate $70,000,000 a year in research grants back to the University.</p>
