With Budget cuts, is it worth it?

<p>Is it worth it to go to a JC to transfer to a 4 year such as a UC or private school considering all the budget cuts the California Education System is facing? I was accepted to a few 4 years in the top 100 and I wanted to go to a JC for a year (for rpivates) or two (for UCs) to attempt to reapply for higher ranking schools. If I go to a JC, I will have priority registration and be in the honors problems so getting classes shouldn’t be too hard. Also, I would be competing in my sport to attempt to transfer (with ease?) to a higher ranking school. i ask you fellow college confidentialers, is it worth it?</p>

<p>im sure EVERYONE can agree the hardest part about CC is getting classes.

yes, because with priority registration…these cuts dont necessarily effect you as much as those with out priority registration, assuming they have your classes needed to transfer. </p>

<p>priority wins. it will make ur life so much easier…</p>

<p>I think it’s only worth it if you have priority registration. Otherwise, classes are virtually impossible to get.</p>
