Withdrawal from class

Hi,
I recently got accepted as a transfer and am being awarded a scholarship (which will allow me to attend the school because it is very expensive) as long as I maintain a 3.0. This has been a very hard semester for me because of personal problems, and I am taking a Native American studies class and the professor threw us a curve ball on the midterm (things he did not even discuss or was assigned to us) and I failed. Should I withdraw to save my GPA? With my other classes I will most likely get a 3.0 but with this one I will def go below. They are going to review my final transcript again but will a W on my transcript look bad?

Seems like you best plan is talking to your advisor because that person could explain university policy and practice or direct you to someone who does.

Contact the school you plan to transfer into and ask.
