I’ll try to keep this to a minimum. I am a 4th year at a fairly top university majoring in Economics. In the past, I was also Pre-Med and finished all of the requirements but decided not to pursue a life of medicine. I have always been fairly ambitious in the classes I took, always striving to take the hardest ones for that particular quarter (Usually economic classes). Finally, with graduation coming up, I’ve sadly slacked a bit and finally bit off more than I can chew.
I am thinking about dropping Econometrics B because of the difficulty of the class and the other classes I am taking. Unlike many other withdrawing threads, I cannot retake this class in the future. So, here are a couple of facts about my situation:
<li>I will graduate (assuming I pass my Chinese class, which I will; I finished all my major requirements during the fall of my 4th year and wanted to take more economics for the sake of learning; Metrics B will just count as an elective)</li>
<li>If I do withdraw, it will be my first and only withdraw.</li>
<li>The other classes I am taking are fairly difficult I think (Chinese, Quantitative Macro models, Health Economics)</li>
<li>I plan to work doing research for 2 to 3 years and want to go to graduate school; how bad will withdrawing from a class hurt those chances?</li>
