Withdrawing from a class

<p>What do med/dent/vet/pharm schools think if you withdraw from a class in your first semester in college and then retake the class and get an A? And if that’s the only drop you use, do they still see that as bad or will they just think it was an adjustment to college period?</p>

<p>If you check SDN, most think W’s are the death sentence to your application, the ADCOMs I’ve talked to dont care as much. Just limit it to maybe 1 or 2. Plus at UF there aren’t that many drops you can use anyways (2 before 60 credits and 2 after). </p>

<p>Some schools will ask you to explain it on you secondary.</p>
