Can this hold prevent my registration, or is it placed for all students receiving financial aid?

I saw it on my JTF as well…no idea. I emailed the office of the bursar and haven’t heard back yet.

heyyyyyy I have that on my Student Center too.
I think it has to do with using Tuition Pay (are u both using that?). Since I’ve just recently enrolled in that, and then this hold just appeared. Any info on this would be REALLY helpful.

Please keep us updated.

will do - no answer yet (but seeing as it’s the weekend…i’ll let cornell off the hook)

I have the same thing (also doing Tuition Pay) I’d assume we are okay since all my classes are still there…but it would be nice to know for certain!

It is because of Tuition Pay.
I had it last year.

The reason is because Tuition Pay pays for your family portion in full at the beginning of the year, and then you work down your debt to Tuition Pay.

Because of that, Cornell cannot refund you any credits to your bursar bill until you’ve worked down your debt to 0.

Everything is fine. You can register just fine.

…i never signed up for tuition pay. Is it something that you just get signed up for by cornell?

No. You sure you didn’t sign up for Cornell Installment Plan?
