<p>Well, I’ve been stressing because I have the third window (^$%^&$), and I’m worried about not getting into the language course I want…but I went to check today, and one of the time slots is completely empty…HOWEVER, there’s a little yellow box next to the slot that says WL, which I assume means “wait list.” What does this mean? If the class is empty, why is someone waitlisted?</p>
<p>They are probably a grad student.</p>
<p>For some languages, there is a freshman-only section, so they’re empty with waitlists of non-freshmen. That’s probably what you’re seeing.</p>
