Woh! A US Senator just called me!

It’s not very often that a senator happens to call you one night lol. This has got to be one moment to remember. around 6pm, I received a phone call, which sorta went like this:

Me: Hello?

Random lady: Hi, am I speaking to K.J.C.?

Me: yup, it’s me.

Random lady: Hi K., Senator Jack Reed (he’s the US Senator for RI), from Washington D.C. would like to speak with you today. Hold on one moment.

Me: o_O (x100)

And so the Senator started talking to me about how I was, how school’s going and stuff and I was like, yea, I’m doing great, and then he said he spoke with my sister in Iraq!!! And she told him to call me, and to tell me that she’s doing fine and the Senator told me that he’s proud of my sis and that I shouldn’t worry bout her. You won’t believe how happy I am to hear this news, especially from the US Senator himself! I’m so happy my sister’s doing ok in Iraq. I’ll still be praying for her and that she will come back home safely later this year. It’s nice to know that there are politicians out there who actually keep their promises :)

hey thats pretty cool.

omg. that’s SOOOOO cool!

And don’t worry, your sister will be just fine. =) She will come back and be a hero.

That is awesome. Your sister will be in my thoughts, I am so proud to have wonderful people like her who serve our country.

What a wonderful surprise!
Sending warm appreciation to your sister and warm hopes that your sister stays safe.

Wow. That’s really cool. I’d freak out if Senator Clinton called me up just ask how my family was doing. And I hope your sister is safe and sound in Iraq. Hopefully more legislation is passed by your Senator to ensure her safe trip home! =]

Thanks, guys! :)

that’s pretty cool…

coool, cool, khool! ;)
