Woman beheaded at Oklahoma workplace

The 30-year-old man, who has not yet been charged, stabbed Colleen Hufford, 54, severing her head in Thursday’s attack at Vaughan Foods, Moore Police Sgt. Jeremy Lewis said.

“Yes, she was beheaded,” Lewis told The Associated Press before a Friday news conference.

Lewis said the man then stabbed Traci Johnson, 43, a number of times before being shot by Mark Vaughan, a reserve sheriff’s deputy and the company’s chief operating officer.

While questioning the suspect’s co-workers, investigators learned he had recently started trying to convert several employees to Islam, Lewis said. Moore police have asked the FBI to aid in the investigation and look into the man’s background because of the nature of the attack, Lewis said.

Another one brutally murdered in the manner designated by a follower of the religion of peace. How horrible.

However, I am impressed with some of the Muslim countries that have aided in the bombing of the ISIS nuts. The fact that they have a female fighter pilot from the UAE is awesome, and people seem quite proud of her. It makes me think there is some hope. The optimist in me hopes that enough moderate Muslims will see this behavior as not just a aberration, but something that is becoming more mainstream, and threatens them more than anyone else. I’ve been waiting for that for some time.

I feel so badly for this poor woman and her family.

Just horrific.

There are no words.

Workplace violence.

Horrible, like any act of workplace violence and any senseless death.

I agree with the horrible part. The rest is way too.complicated.

Workplace jihad.

“Workplace jihad”

I think you just came up with a new catchy phrase.

If they cut off your head at work, it’s Workplace jihad.

Poor woman.

Thank goodness the manager had a gun. A witness said he was attacking the next person when the boss shot him. It’s all on the 911 call. His Facebook page is about as anti-American as you can get including WTC.

Workplace violence? Even murder would be better.

8 I copied it from a comment on a blog, actually.

Oh well, you can take credit on this forum, scholarme.

Thank God the manager had a gun, I agree!

While the manager was a hero, I also feel terrible for him. He is going to have to live with the fact that he had to kill a man to save others’ lives. That has to be a heavy burden, no matter how righteous it was. Three lives ruined for nothing.

Maybe not. He did not kill the man, the attacker is in the hospital. The news report says they are waiting for him to come out of sedation to interview him.

I don’t know that I would feel a heavy burden, to have killed a violent attacker to save others lives. The hero was a reserve sheriff’s deputy, so I’m sure he was fully prepared to kill to protect others. I guess you don’t know how you’ll feel until it happens.

I wouldn’t feel a burden. I feel that I saved lives with my gun.

Ok sorry, I didn’t know all the facts. Thanks, I feel a little better about it now.

But when he gets put into prison he’s gonna wish he was dead…

He’s an ex-con who law enforcement thinks may have been radicalized in prison.

But when he gets put back into prison he’s gonna wish he was dead…

I have no understanding of why we allow radical clerics to preach to prisoners. If you aren’t preaching peace, love and tolerance, what is the use for having you in a prison? Get them out of there. It’s not like the government doesn’t (or shouldn’t) have control of this.
