I’m hoping to play soccer at either Umass Lowell or Umass Amherst. Can anyone give any insight into student life for athletes on these teams? Are teams close, do they live together, do they have advisors for academics (separate from ones any student would have), anything else? Thanks
The coach along with visits to the schools, interacting or speaking to current athletes (while on campus, camps, OVs) should give you the answers your question.
I do not have first hand womens soccer experiance at those schools but chime in only as I am familiar with both schools/campuses.
Differnt types of campuses of course between UMass Amherst & Lowell but both schools have good reputations academically and the student life feedback that I have heard from students at both schools is positive. Given the environment, I would imagine would also be able to make quite a few close friends outside of the team/athletics should you choose to.
