My 10 year old (boy) has Air Jordan 1’s right now as his every day shoes - those suckers are heavy duty and he is loving the retro styling. He was tearing through (literally and figuratively) the Nike lightweight running shoes so fast; it was very frustrating. I agree that he will outgrow these before they wear out.
