do i list my science fair state level award under “School and Community Activities, Awards, and Special Recognition” or “Work/Research Experience During the Months You Were in School”?

and also I am simply a member of National Honor Society, Math and Science. the thing is that i simply am a membr but dont have any REAL role. should i include honor societies just to show GT i am in them or just use the ones I have leaderships in?

ALSO, another question. When I list 12th grades should I use my completed 1st quarter or the interms (mid way report) of the 2nd quarter.

the problem is that in the 1st quarter report card I have all A’s and a B and B+.
and on the interim I have all A’s and one C-.

which one should I use? and will GT take into consideration my semester grades (which is over on Jan 29th; soo i was thinking if they did see my semester I could just include my 1st quarter).

please please please help! hah nervous panic attack!

Put it under “School/Community Activities.” The other section is meant for some sort of organized research performed perhaps over a summer research camp at a university.

List activities that are of importance to you. If you consider NHS to be an honor, than list it. I would remind you that NHS tends to have several hundred members, but only perhaps 4 or 5 leadership positions, so it isn’t terribly common to find someone in NHS with a leadership role. But if there are other activities you feel are more important, list them instead.

You should double check with admissions, but I believe that you won’t report any grade at all if one is not available to you. Simply write the course without a grade. But double check.

How about awards and certificates? It doesnt seem like GA Tech cares about them… =(
