Woo, that Senioritis is kicking in.....

no way, there’s like 11 days left. you can’t leave in the midst of the fire test!

Ever since I got my likely letter, I have been on this site WAY too much!
Oh well. I just can’t help myself.

Yeah…I need to have Oedipus the King read for a quiz tomorrow.

How much have I read…take a wild guess.

It doesn’t matter in my case, especially since my grades were definitely not the strongest part of my application

read Oedipus! i really enjoyed that play!

Ugh. I started reading “The Wasteland” and I’m definitely not very fond of it.

So… what is it, 16 or so days until decisions? Wow.

English class is the worst because of the lengthy reading assignments, esp. this late in the year! AP English is extremely irritating because I know that at Dartmouth I’m going to take a buttload of english classes ( since i’m doing govt I have to be a very persuasive writer). 74$ a test really sux also. You know how many things I can get with 74$???

Can you get a fee waiver for the AP exam?

"I started reading “The Wasteland”

bad omen…
Calidan, burn it before the crulest month works its diabolic magic on your apps!

our APs are $82 each. the website doesnt say, so somebody who knows: can I get credit for both AP exams (i did well last year, so if they only take one or the other, I won’t take it the lit. this year).

I’m going to try and paraphrase A is for Admission:

“Every year, Dartmouth refuses admission to 6 to 8 accepted students because of second-semester grades. If you had all As in your midyear report and at the end of the year you have two As and three Bs, you will not get a letter. However, any more extreme a slide, and the school will want an explanation.”

lol Kalide- thanks for the advice. ;)

and 82 dollars for an AP test? Ours are 95 dollars each! damn…

does anyone have a recommendation for ap prep books plz? i’ll be taking bio, physics b, and calc bc.

may 9th! i cant wait! bio and physics on the same day:( wont that be fun?

I would definitely recommend that you use the Barron’s AP Guides, no matter the subject. Last year as a junior that Barron’s really helped me for different AP exams I had to take. Barron’s is the most detailed of the guides. The Cliff notes one is fluff.

Word on the Cliff’s Notes. They didn’t help me in BC Calc at all.
