I already received my logins from my other schools…just waiting for Rice.</p>

<p>Ive received 3 acceptances and 1 confirmation that a school has processed my app. Rice is lagging :(</p>

<p>I haven’t gotten mine either, but a buddy from my school who applied did - that and his invitation to Vision 2009.</p>

<p>I guess they’re still in the process of sending the confirmations then, since I submitted December 26 and still haven’t received mine. Has anybody called admissions recently? I hesitate to do so because I called once about my fee waiver and they were not so courteous, plus I can only assume that they are still insanely swamped.</p>

<p>Applied mid-December and got mine today. Could they be doing it by region?</p>

<p>Ah let’s hope it’s by region. I applied RD on 10/29 lol (though the payment didn’t go through or something until about a week later).</p>

<p>It’s so weird that it’s taken them so long to send out all the emails. When there was first news that some people had received logins, I assumed mine would come in the next couple days…</p>

<p>My understanding of the admissions process is that one person is assigned to evaluate the applications from a single region. If they are also responsible for sending out the logins, maybe some are just faster than others</p>

<p>fyi-- my son applied mid- to late Dec. (can’t remember now). He still hasn’t had an email from Rice. And he’s not international… in fact, we live less than 50 miles from the campus.</p>
