My daughter sent in her on-line application on January 1st and received her email with logon id and pin on January 20th.

My son another Texan didn’t get it either, he did however get a letter in the mail yesterday that said they were working the login system and that he would be able to log in soon.

Still nothing (son submitted Dec. 13th) - no email, no snail mail… nada. Sigh.

still nothing too

lalalalalalalalalala im not far from insanity.
:]

sent in on Dec 15…still nothing…should I call?

i have got no confirmation of my sent application either!! only school i’m waiting for =(

Calm down i’m sure they’ll send it, they’re not going to forget it. I haven’t gotten mine either.

My S’s log in information had not yet come so I did call admissions today. They told me it was e-mailed to him on 2-2 and they said they would re-send it today.

nothing - no email, no letter.

I called. Receptionist said they were sending them out in waves. She also looked up my daughter’s info and let me know what was missing (signature page).

JBM - I don’t think we should “calm down”! This is absolutely outrageous. Here it is Feb. 10 - don’t you think they should start looking at these apps? They could even put something up on their website telling us that they are still working on sorting the mail - something, anything! And then, when they have finished sorting, & emailing logins & passwords, put on the site that now you should call, as we’re done sorting and if you haven’t heard from us, you’d better call us. That would make me feel slightly better - that they do know what they are doing. This “waves” business has been going on for eight weeks.

Son is over it. I’m mad because I have to spend money on the CSS Profile and send my tax returns to a school that seems to have a problem with paperwork. I’ll let you know when that elusive email comes - if ever. (application date 11-29)

After your son is admitted (
) I suggest that you have a little talk with the Dean of Undergraduates or the Head of Admissions and let them know what you think should have happened. Wait until then! Someone in there must not be aware of the angst that goes on due to the lack of information. Definitely, an email to all candidates informing them that admissions is swamped and that logins are late coming would be a good idea. Like I said, though, the university itself runs very smoothly.

i heard that it worse for ed people lol…

I just got login p/w email !

they sent me my log-in information twice. once on Jan 20th and again today. does anyone one know why this is? should it be a concern?

got log in and id today!!

I got my log-in information twice as well

Finally got it today ![]()
Just when the paranoia had hit its high point. ;p

Yeah! I also received my log-in today and all my materials have been received! Now just to wait another 50 days or so… Rice seems to be a purist in terms of waiting for April 1 or April 2 to release decisions.
