Wording. Do they understand?

I noticed in some organizations there are “state presidents” and then others have “district governors” which are both essentially the same thing, but technically “president” sounds better but districts encompass more area (usually 1-3 states)

Do colleges know the difference when you report it to your extra curriculars?

Yes, but this will not actually matter at all.

Well I do think it matters especially if they don’t understand your position or extracurricular, they will just brush it off as something stupid. For all they know, it could be a title of a self found school club that only has two members or it could mean that you are the face of a mutliple-state wide division of an international organizations with a few thousand members. To be honest. I think it matters a great deal but thank you for answering.

Don’t argue with siliconvalleymom…
