This is the first puzzle I have seen in which Wordle displayed the colors wrong. The 2nd guess should have had 5 yellow letters. Instead the middle letter was colored black, even though that letter was contained in the solution. That letter was colored yellow in my first guess, which I expected was the correct coloring.
After the 2nd guess, 2 possible solutions remained. I chose the wrong one, possibly due to a bias from this website. My incorrect guess was a word that is regularly the topic of discussions on this forum.

@Data10 for your second guess did you use the middle letter twice in your second guess, in which case if both were wrong you would only get one yellow?

I find it so interesting to see how different everyone’s patterns are. With mine I did the first word that came to mind for guess 3, but it ended up being what I suspect was the only other possibility.

My skill rating was lower than usual, almost entirely due to my 3rd guess. Wordlebot gave me a 77 skill on the 3rd guess with the message:
“Your guess was guaranteed to eliminate every possible solution but one. But it would have been better to guess a potential solution here. (##### couldn’t solve the puzzle based on what was learned in the previous guesses.)”
I think this is a fair assessment. I had forgotten that I played one of the letters from my 2nd guess, so I thought I had ~12 solutions remaining after 2nd guess, when according to Wordlebot, I only had 4. I believe my 3rd guess would have been near optimal if I had previously played only the letters I remembered. Maybe I’d make fewer careless errors like this, if I played in the morning, rather than after midnight.
