A rare five guess game for me. Looking at my stats, majority of the time I get it in three, followed by four. Out of 105 games, only the 11th time it has taken me five guesses!

Super thrilled with getting today’s in 3! The random first two words that came to mind made all the difference. After my second word I’m not sure any other would have worked.

Octordle was a PHEW - guessing between two possible words at the end, and guessed right for a change! Good day for me overall - my random first word helped on all of them today.

I ended up needing to cheat. After my 3rd guess I knew where the yellow tile needed to go, but couldn’t think of any words. I went to word.tips and it turned out there was only 1 word it could be: the answer.

I should have gotten this one in three. I was pretty sure I knew the word, but I’m still new enough that I wanted to eliminate some letters just to make sure.

After the 2nd guess, there were ~3 possible solutions. One of those solutions was an offensive word that I didn’t expect NYT to use. Among the remaining 2 options, I chose what I thouht was most likely to be a solution and was correct.
