I was so sure I was going to get this in two after the tiles revealed on my starting word, but no dice.

I’m not quite sure how WordleBot does its scoring. After my first guess, there were only 4 words remaining. There was only one letter of difference (obviously) between them, so no way that guessing a particular word would eliminate other possibilities along with itself. Two of the possibilities would receive a 99 skill score, while the other two would receive either a 90 or an 87. Perhaps it’s based on how common the word is? Or how common that 4th letter is in other words, even though it would make no difference in this case? After eliminating one of the 99-point words with my second guess the remaining words were then valued at 99, 94, and 91. The answer happened to be the 94-point word.
