Interesting email game subscribers received from NY Times Spelling Bee creator Sam Ezersky- he stated:
“Whether it’s filling in those final crossword squares, advancing to Genius in Spelling Bee or unraveling the daily Wordle: Don’t be afraid or ashamed to pause and come back. Our brains work in mysterious ways. They can reveal novel new insights following something as simple as a lap around the living space.”
I do this often.

vineyarder - i have had that too. i feel like after the second time of getting the same three letters right, i want to try an entirely different word that doesnt use those correct letters; but that goes against the true concepts of wordle! so i keep guessing away at rhyming words. and i keep coming back!

I do too. 
Especially with Spelling Bee and Crossword. Typically I knock out Wordle fairly quick with my morning coffee, but some days, like today, I need to step away.
