-How many of you worked while in college?

Did it help you in your first interview? Did it help you in your career. How?

-How many of you did not work while in college? Did affect it your first interview? How?

I am working in college. I will graduate with work experience in my field (yes that is going to help), and it has impressed scholarship boards and various other competitions I have entered. A lot of people graduate without relevant experience and end up working an unpaid internship after graduation. No thanks!

If you graduate college without any work experience at all you are going to be in trouble.

I didn’t work in high school, but I picked up a part-time blue collar job last summer and I continue to work after school and on weekends while enrolled as a full-time college student.

I don’t know how having this minimum wage job will help me when I start interviewing for internships in my field (which is finance), but holding such a job, at minimum, connotes that I function well in a workplace.

i never had an interview :P

but i had the grades they wanted and the reccomendations so i got in.

worst eperience would have to be HS :P
