Work for Credit?

So I sent an appeal letter to try to get back my work study so I could get my job back for the fall. I havent heard back, so I’m assuming they aren’t giving in.

I was told I could always work for credit, or, I guess, do research for credit. I tried looking at the site and it said that the deadline for fall 2009 had already passed for the 199 “class.”

What are my other options besides straight out volunteering?

And can someone explain to me the details of the 199 and 99 classes?

THANK YOU

just email professors, postdocs, etc. for 199 opportunities

it isnt a formal process–the ones with deadlines are just the more popular ones that need to cap enrollment, have interviews, etc.

I have someone who would sponsor me, but what other classes besides the 199 and 99 can I use to get credit for lab work?
