Work Study Positions Easy to Get?

<p>I understand that there is a formal process through which a person receives a work study position but I was wondering if it’s at all competitive. Are there outstandingly less positions than the amount of people who want the jobs? Or are you pretty much guaranteed the job if you have the skills?</p>

<p>Depends on the job. Depends on the employer. You’ll need to apply to it like any other job. Work study applicants are given priority provided they have the necessary skills.</p>

<p>I can tell you that when I applied for my job, the professor wanted an interview. When I arrived at the interview, he told me he wanted to hire me on the spot.</p>
