<p>Who is responsible to pay this portion of the pkg?</p>

<p>The sudent or the school?</p>

<p>Let me see if this is correct, another words the student works in a campus job and gets paid the stated amt a little at a time through the school yr( bi-weekly or monthly) and this is to be used for books and supplies etc. </p>

<p>Does it get paid back or another words gets lumped into the bal that the student will owe the school?</p>

<p>In most cases the student must find a job…the advantsage of the work study is that the wages are subsidized so you are a more attractive employee. You are not guaranteed to earn the full amount, it is up to you to find the job and to work the hours. The money is yours to use as you like.</p>

<p>No, its not a loan. It is a federal program, and favorable to the school because some % of it is paid by US Govt. You don’t pay it back.</p>
