Does qualifying for work study allow for guaranteed initial employment if you choose to do work study? I’m interested because I want to build a resume of good work experience.

Nope. Just because you have work-study does NOT mean that you are guaranteed a job. You still have to apply and get through the interviews all on your own. However, there are many work-study positions available which makes it slightly easier to get a job with no previous experience.

The interviews aren’t bad at all, if you’re applying for a basic position like clerk. They just want to make sure that you’re competent.
