Work transfer

I’m a senior in H.S. I work at CVS pharmacy 20-26 hours a week. My job can be transfered to Valdosta when I go to college in June. Should I get it transfered and work on Saturdays for 8 hours a week during the school year? During the summer in June I’m taking english and psychology…so I think I will be able to work a good bit if I wanted to…

I’ve also considered possibly working at a movie theatre…

I can see working 8 hours a week (two four hour shifts) during the week but to kill every Saturday with work would be very depressing.

This is a very individual choice depending on your personal circumstances and preferences. You probably could manage working 8 hours on Saturday if you want to.

You might want to do the transfer initially but once you get to college look around for a job on campus. The nice thing about campus jobs is that they’re usually more flexible on scheduling (in case you need to study for a test), you can make contacts on campus at a different level, and it can make you feel more ‘connected’ to the campus.

I could also possibly do 2 5 hour shifts a week…

and yes, i would transfer initially but then look for something on campus…
