Is it ok for a 51 years old single women to do this?</p>

I want to stay with local and explore the culture.

<p>There is a wide age range of the volunteers in Workaway and similar volunteer based travel. </p>
<p>As with any solo travel, make sure you become comfortable with your host family and gather as much local information from the area as you possibly can in order to plan accordingly. </p>
<p>I’ve been thinking of doing something like this next summer or in the near future. </p>
