Working at "the buckle"

Hey… i have a question… has anyone worked or is working at the buckle? If so… what was/is it like… i just got hired and this will be my first job… i’m curious

Ever heard of the “buckle challenge”? It is when you walk form the front of the store and touch the back wall without a staff person talking to you. I’ve never made it. Most buckles in my area have a very eager, yet friendly staff. I think they get a comission bonus. But the guys are pretty hott so it all evens out. And they have some good clothes

what is “the buckle”

that is hilarious millie!
the buckle is a clothing store.
i guess i can compare to pacific sunwear meets wet seal and holister

oh we don’t have a buckle here I guess then

Boo, the Buckle.

There’s no way those employees aren’t on comission. They will do anything to sell to you. I think their favorite methods are running around the store and handing you piles of clothes to try on, directing you away from the sale rack, and lying to you about how hot you look in fugly clothes.

But I don’t think working there would be bad. Retail is about the best job a high school kid can get.

my one air guard buddy loves the buckle. is that like a preppy store or what?

well joev doesn’t seem to familiar with it either. I’m not the only ohioan out of the loop

you guys aren’t missing out on anything special

i have seen the website, it sounds like a crappy structure store if that is possible

hey, i totally just applied there the other night… I really hope I get hired simply because I really need the money. I bet it’s not a half bad job.

celebrian, there is one at easton, but i never go in it. all of the stuff look pretty crappy.

yeah, i agree that the buckle isn’t anything special… its a mix of a lot of different styles so its not just preppy. actually, its not even really that preppy. lol, i dont know, just thinking about it makes my head hurt… (i’m procrastinating from studying for ap lit and ap chem finals!)

I got the job and i personally love the store… There are clothes for all styles and the jeans are amazingly awsome. No matter what your shape is you can always find a pair or more for ya there.

I’ve never in my life found a good pair of jeans at the Buckle.

Also, their clothes are kind of ghetto… Or thug, or whatever they call it now. Not really the image I want to convey.

But that’s what’s hip, man!

heh, I guess not where I’m from. Everyone looks like a cross between a frat boy/sorority girl and a hippie. North Face Chic, if you will.

hehe I rarely go to Easton, that’s probably why. I don’t really live close to Easton, which is probably why no one I know works there.
