I know the deadline for giving out books falls within a couple of days but for anyone interested:

Several CCers participated last year and enjoyed the experience.

Did it last year and put in to do it again. Gave out books at the HS to non-English department teachers - was fun.

I believe the deadline is extended to this Friday .

Just signed up for this year! I thought maybe I would be contacted since I participated last year, but not so. Thanks for the heads up!

I signed up for my high school’s entry level/remedial classes to add to their library.

Ignatius- thought you’d like to know that several members of our women’s club PLUS OUR LIBRARY are now involved of world book night, because you wrote about this last year.
yes, I’ll be a giver again, and have my first choice “The Language of Flowers” - just wanted to thank you !!!

^^^ Thanks.

I hope to post about it earlier next year, so any who want to get involved have time.

I still haven’t read The Language of Flowers but want to do so. I know you liked it.

I loved the Language of Flowers.

I am a giver for the second year - I am doing it with the High School again - did not hear if I got my book choice - had asked for Good Omens.

Today is the day - World Book Night - I gave mine away this morning at the local high school - Good Omens - hope the readers enjoy it!

Good on you Kiddie - I did WBN last year but am fortunate to have the opportunity to give out books daily in my job so I passed on taking up a spot this year.
