Yep, but considering the awful ref in the game we are watching, it is a better choice. It could have been worse with the Spaniard Velasco or one from a smallish country. Too bad it did not go to Webb. And good that Chiquidracula Rodriguez got an earlier game!

I follow Everton but don’t watch every game.

My, my, how Robben does carry on. Could well have been a penalty, but what’s the point of laying on the ground for that long after the play has continued?

You won’t have to wait 2 years! The womens’ world cup is next year, here in Canada! Can’t wait!

It would have been nice for American soccer if Geiger had gotten some role in the end. He was the 4th for Brazil/Germany

I will follow Copa America 2105, Euro Cup 2016, the Olympics, and some local club matches. And of course, women world cup too.

To answer my own question–
I’m a DC United season ticket holder, a Washington Spirit season ticket holder. I will watch most every MLS game (I don’t get the ones that are the national games in Spanish), tons of EPL.

Once the fall starts, I will coach 3 Rec teams (4th grade girls, 5th grade girls and a HS team (mixed grades but ~50% seniors-- some of whom I’ve coached since they were in kindergarten.

It takes dedication and patience to coach three youth rec teams.

I have Brazilian exchange students staying in the dorms over the summer and it’s been crazy watching the past 2 games with them! I would be heartbroken. I cried when Mexico lost.

I mostly watch the Champions League, followed by the EPL and the occasional Bundesliga or La Liga game. I don’t follow the Revolution.

^^
Same as above, but I watch a couple of Seattle or Portland summaries. I record a lot of games but FF through many of them. I also watched many WC qualifications and weekly excerpts from the Jupiler Leagues in Europe. Got the chance to catch a few live Champions League and local games. There are just too many options with satellite and the web!

One more game and we’re back to the other football. Not much baseball this year with my team losing 21 out the last 24 and being pummeled.

I think Germany will win 3 to 1.

You still have time to change your mind.

Germany wants support from Brazilian fans in this final game.

http://www.bbc.com/sport/0/football/28257161

I think I know what is in the mind of the Brazilians.

So glad my favorite commentators (Ian Darke, Steve McManaman) are working this game!

Almost goal for Argentina!

I am glad they finally took 23 for Germany out of the game. Stupid people trying to get him killed.

I’m glad he finally came off.

^^^^I’m very worried about him. They have got to come up with ways to protect these players. By definition a head injury causes impaired judgment, so “I’m fine I want to play” is NOT SUFFICIENT. This makes me furious.

I get worked up about this due to D2’s two severe concussions playing soccer and how one was handled when I wasn’t present at the game. Trying to calm down now.

If someone is suspected of being concussed, does subbing him count as one of three subs?

Good game!
