My sister has caught the bug and just called to ask a bunch of questions. She says that she’ll only watch the US team, but I know better than that.

Were they given the red and white wavy shirts? I thought I saw some Paraguay fans wearing them too (their colors are also red/white/blue) and I saw Tom Cruise and Beckham signing them and handing them to fans (at first I thought they were signing flags and I thought that was bad, but then figured out they were shirts). They’d sign them and then hand them back, but everyone had one on so I thought they might have been a giveaway. If not, some vendor made a m$llion.

not that I’m aware of…but would have been fun to get one!

The Scots are an awesome bunch. They are living their best lives in Boston! Sorry for the personal disruption @MADad, I have friends in the same boat as you.

I only saw highlights, but it seemed like the US team played the best it ever played.

:worried: worried about Yassine Bounou, goalie for Morocco and his potential injury.

He’s been a fav player of mine. I always teased I wanted one of my daughters to date him ( we have Moroccan blood) so I could just look at him more… I mean LOOK AT HIM.

Whoops, now back to your regularly scheduled soccer talk.

We watched the Morocco Brazil game yesterday and I thought of you when Morocco scored early

Our family is USA, Scotland, Costa Rica, Netherlands football fans. We’re attending a few random games since we’re in a host city that is wonderfully enthusiastic for soccer.

My personal contribution has been volunteering with the City Office of Cultural Affairs to bring more public art to our city in anticipation of the World Cup visitors. I’m even more invested because these additions will be enjoyed for years to come.

My nephew and a friend are flying from Bermuda to Boston on Thursday to hang out and watch games at some viewing locations. They can’t afford to buy tickets to watch a match and since they are both huge football fans they decided to do this to soak up the atmosphere.

Some of the older kids in my neighborhood hope to do the March to the Stadium before the USA match. They don’t have tickets but want that experience.

Tell them the The Dubliner is the biggest Irish bar in town, shows every game, and is across the street from Boston’s World Cup Fan Zone.
