France and Argentina not too long ago would have had the makings of a Final Four matchup but both teams have struggled this cycle. France and Uruguay going through are my picks.
Tomorrow’s games look promising, especially Uruguay vs Portugal. Two heroes (or villains, depending on POV) of the game attempt to put their teams another step closer to a World Cup championship.

I lost my cable connection during one of the games last week. I had to unplug the power and re-downloaded the cable app. It took almost 50 minutes. When the TV was back, the game had only 2 minutes left. Luckily the internet is good today.

Wish Argentina had as well but they really didn’t deserve to with the way they’ve played and I’m okay with a French win.
Spain-Russia game is a not very exciting.
Russia made 2 goals so far. Spain has not made any goal.
Spain-Russia tied up at the end of 90. 1-1. Russia hasn’t had the ball too much, but that’s not a surprise since it’s Spain.
I have not seen many dangerous plays by Spain.
By possessing the ball 74% of the game thru 90, they practice “strategic patience.” They try to wear the opponent down.
