I can’t talk about the game with my family because they are in “radio silence” mode and will watch this evening.
I watched on a plane. Thankfully! The French defense was very stingy after the first 10-ish mins of the match. The 1st half was played cleanly. 2nd half not so much. Pogba had a great game. Lakaku “disappeared without a trace.” Although he just missed getting his head on a cross into the box.
I wonder if the Croatian team has been discharged yet from the hospital after their last match vs. Russia. :))

Croatia already looks gassed (16 min mark in first half). Fouling us constantly. We’ll get another goal and then this one’s on ice.
One characteristic that today’s match has that yeaterday’s France-Belgium match didn’t have is that the audience today has a pulse.
That’s bc we’re witnessing history. The gold trophey is coming home, and everyone wants to be part of this. =D>
