<p>The sequence that made up Klose’s goal was incredible. Argentina should have put Messi in late–maybe they were going to before their keeper got hurt.</p>
<p>Their goalie shouldnt have been such a puss. He somehow had enough “manhood” to get back up to grab Ballack’s header on the empty net and was able to play for about 5-7 minutes…BUT AS SOON AS THAT FREE KICK FOR GERMANY CAME ABOUT…OH MAH GOD! My Whiney weak girlish legs and side!!! SUBBBBBB!!!</p>
<p>I agree - Argentina still had a sub left, and I would’ve loved to see Messi in there…It was an amazing, very emotional game…sad to see it end in penalty kicks, and sad to see Argentina go…I think they played a very good game, possibly better than the Germans (performance up until Klose’s goal was very disappointing, especially Podolski…he’s cute but he doesn’t live up to the hype…Germany had so many free kicks and penalties and Podolski screwed them up so badly and lost the ball so many times), but Germany got lucky with the kicks at the end and the new goalie. Klose’s goal was amazing though, and I must confess I rooted for the Germans. It was sad to see the Argentinians cry, but that fighting at the end was disappointing. So close, so close. Lehmann (and Klose) are the heroes of Germany today. Can’t wait until Germany-Brazil in the finals!</p>
<p>EDIT: That goalie seemed pretty injured. Saw the replay and it looked painful. Germany def. got lucky with that switch.</p>
<p>ok so germany is on the semifinals and they are gonna face italy. to me, thats the european argentian vs brazil game. they are 2 the best european national teams in history. germany has to beat italy otherwise brazil will win the world cup. germany is the only team capable of beating brazil unless england’s midfield stars shine superbly and beat brazil.</p>
