Do the AP World History essay topics rotate in years? For example, since a question asked about the Silk Road last year, does that mean the Silk Road won’t be a topic for an essay this year?

Similarly, do they try to vary the time periods up? If they ask about 1450 through the present day one year, is it likely they’ll ask about things further back in time this year?

probably… it’d be stupid to give same question another year

i bet its going to be transaharan africa trade for ccot, since last two were silk road and indian ocean trade

Yes, they do vary the essays yearly. According to my teacher, by reading the essay questions from the past 10 years, you can determine what NOT to over-study. lol

is there a way to find out the essay questions from the past 10 years??

So is it pretty much definite the question won’t revolve around trade, since it has for two years in a row?

Well if they did it twice in a row, they just may do it a third (i.e. Trans-Saharan trade). But on the other hand, they may realize that we’d probably figure it out by now and wait another year for it.

You can never know.
