World Language?

Hello, I am a 10th grader at a Technical studying Electrical Technology. I have yet to decide on my future, and currently debating on going to college or a trade school, if I am still interested in my trade at that time. Anyways, the school I want to go to if I decide to go is Penn State. Under high school requirements, it states I need 2 units in world language. Does that mean foreign language? If so, my school does not offer a program for learning a different language. Is there a way I can get the classes that colleges will see and like? I don’t mind learning at home but I’m afraid it won’t count. Anyways, thanks.

Edit: Never mind, I simply didn’t look down further down where it states what it means. I’m quite disappointed in myself for not realizing this. Is there a way I can delete this thread?

Yay for figuring it out

nah, you can’t delete – CC doesn’t let you, so that other students can research. It’s a completely idiotic rule for some threads.

fun fact - I’m taking Latin! team dead languages!!

Yes you can take any world language, either through a community college or online.
Completing more than 2 years increases your odds of getting in (you’ll have to check if you have 2, 3, 4, 5 years, where obviously the more you had, the better).
