World of warcraft addiction

Don’t know if this is the right place or not, but here it goes! My 25yr old son continues to play world of warcraft! I know he is addicted to it, but not sure how to handle it. He is a very intelligent person. I high school he played football and would go to practice, come home do his home work and go to bed, on his time off he would play video games, halo, call of duty and other’s. Now he goes to work 3p-11p and it’s the same ole routine, comes home, turns on the computer, goes into kitchen and get’s something to eat and returns to his room, by that time the p/c has booted and he is on the game wowc. I told him he was addicted and needed to get out and be able to talk to people. He say’s he is able to talk to people on the game and that is what he likes to do. So many other thing’s he is missing out on. He has one true best friend and even when he comes over, his buddy will play one thing and my son will play wowc. Someone help?
