World Series 2017

The second game was epic! I could not believe the drama, back and forth leads, number of home runs. Just when I thought it was over for one team or the other, the players kept battling back.

I am rooting for Houston. The Pirates are my team but they had a miserable season. My kids are in DC and Denver but the Nationals and Rockies are also not in it. Houston has never won and Houston could use a lift after all the city has been through with the hurricane. Let’s go Astros!

I’ve been a lifelong SF Giants fan, so it’s always any team but the Dodgers here. Great series so far, love the tension of a close game like Game 3.

Two very talented teams, although Dodgers have more talent, better bullpen and home field advantage for Game 7, if needed.

Also rooting for the Astros. They seem evenly matched, but the close games make me nervous.

Hate the Astro with the hideous beard. Can’t even look at him. Waiting for this hideous beard trend to end. For that reason I’m pulling for the Dodgers (plus my mom was a Bklyn D fan, so.)

Rooting for Justin Verlander - so go, Astros!

Not Houston.

They kept the baby bombers from the series.

George Springer is from CT, so go Astros.

No baseball game should take 4 hours.

And Justin Verlander is from Virginia, so go Astros!

Go, Astros!! Loved going to Minute Maid Park when we lived in Houston.

There are some awful beards on BOTH sides, @emilybee!!

Lots of awful beards:

Braves fan here, waiting for WS to be over, so we can deal with fines and personnel issues, and move on. >:P

@Tiredofsnow, but they beat my Yankees - who have a rule against facial hair  so that’s another strike on them.

Oh, now I understand!

Nasty gesture by Gurriel overshadowed the Astros game last night. Glad to hear that he’ll be suspended five games in 2018. That nonsense cannot be tolerated.

Slap on the wrist.

Texan here so rooting for the Astros!

@happy1 The first game was only 2.5 hours so they were just evening it out.

What a wild game again already!

I’m so sleepy.

90 minutes later, I’m STILL sleepy. Go, Astros!!!

I thought when the Dodgers were up 3-0, and Kershaw pitching, the game was over. Great game tonight. Lots of HR’s.
