<p>probably not. Rodent DNA is completely different from human dna. However, They might be able to find a way to make a synthetic model of the immune-mouse dna.</p>
<p>Theoretically yes, through gene therapy (theoretically, you can mix DNA of any two organisms together, but there are MANY risks involved, risks that you won’t want to take with human babies).</p>
<p>But really, implantation of the mouse DNA isn’t necessary, considering that humans and mice share the majority of their DNA for protein synthesis. The genes responsible for the proteins in the mentioned article are probably similar in both human and mouse genomes - so then the next step is to identify the concurrent locus in the human chromosome.</p>
