Hi im a student at Davis Senior High and i have a 3.7 unweighted and 4.1 weighted GPA. I have a SAT of 590 in English and 660 in Math which add up to 1250 on 1600 scale. I scored 5s on my sat essay section.
I want to apply under an engineering major at Santa Clara and Cal Poly and I am worried I wont make the cut due to my lower SAT
I do have an internship at Teague Interprises (google “Teague Interprises”) and work their a few hours a week
I also have worked at 2 UC Davis labs in the past, one that uses mechanical engineering and the other is more biology based
I have also attended an engineering camp at Cal Poly named EPIC and another program at Santa Clara named SES
