<p>The end of the year is now in session and my final grades got destroyed by the finals, =/ i thought i did pretty well when i took them but apparently not so my A’s were brought down to B’s. If my junior and senior years are a lot better would that help self correct itself? I’m trying to get into Cornell =/</p>

<p>When there’s a mismatch between your expected and your actual grade, it’s a good learning opportunity to uncover what went wrong. You should look at your final exams and reflect on how your preparation should have been different.
It sounds like you are finishing 10th grade…it’s more important to get a handle on this issue first, then worry about getting into a specific school.</p>
<p>These two sentences don’t make sense to me: first you’re worried because your As turned into Bs, then you’re not worried about your gpa because your grades are great, but finally you’re worried about your transcript.</p>
