<p>Called Macaulay to ask a question about my application. The guy I was talking to was extremely rude and patronizing. It was obvious the guy was in a bad mood and wouldn’t answer my question so I said Thank you and hung up. Does this guy have any control of my application?</p>
<p>Don’t worry, the CUNY administrators are known to be quite rude…</p>
<p>And the guy specifically? No, I don’t believe so, I think there are other people who look at your app. And even if he was, I don’t think he can do anything bad with your app just because of a bitter conversation you had with him on the phone.</p>

<p>Perhaps try sending an e-mail. E-mails tend to be more professional, and colleges almost always respond to answer concerns. There’s also less of an emotional medium, so hopefully the rudeness and arrogance won’t come across.</p>
