Your stats are a bit low for UCF. You may have a chance but most applicants have a higher weighted GPA and/or test scores. My friends son had similar stats to yours but he did better on the ACT (25) and he was deferred for summer (not Fall). You may want to retake your SAT.

USF has an eligibility guidelines chart for Freshman admissions where you can look up your weighted GPA and test scores and see how likely it is that you will be admitted/deferred/denied. It is very similar to UCF in admissions (perhaps slightly lower from what I hear but who knows). Check it out here:

Per last years chart (this year is not posted yet), you would be deferred at USF until you submit first semester senior year grades and they encourage you to submit new SAT/ACT scores.

Thanks seiclan! NICE chart, I bookmarked it because D is applying to USF just in case she doesn’t get into any of her other 4 Florida schools. She does ultimately want to land at UCF.
