<p>Thanks. But would you not count research opportunities as a strong point; I have heard a lot about it. And could you please tell me something about the academics( specifically math,physics and neuroscience) like the teaching or other things.</p>
<p>^^I wasn’t a science major, but, objectively speaking, the amount of research engaged in by Wesleyan professors definitely sets it apart from other top LACs. According to Washington Monthly Magazine, Wesleyan spends 40% more on research than its nearest competitor, Williams College in Massachusetts. <p>But, that may only tell part of the story. Most LAC professors must limit their work to the summer time or during Winter break and that has to have an effect on the kind of research they are able to do. Wesleyan, thanks to its small scale graduate programs, can operate its laboratories all year round.</p>
