Worst college experiences

I would definately say that my worst was with Lambuth University in Jackson TN Financial Aid office. Here is the letter I wrote directly to the acting president stating I didn’t want to attend and why.

I would like to notify you directly of my decision not to attend Lambuth University. I was once very excited about attending Lambuth University but after dealing with one woman especially in the financial aid office, I have become absolutely appalled at even the idea of attending. I went into her office with my sister trying to sort a minor problem out dealing with her Lottery being cancelled without her knowledge. Firstly she told her that TSAC said that it was because she was inconsistently enrolled and wasn’t enrolled anywhere for the Spring 07 semester when in all actuality she attented a satellite campus of UT Martin. Even after telling what TSAC had told her and our mother, she still insisted it was the reason and came across as being rude. After a hour of following her around trying to talk to her, being left talking to another person, and being told that she was suddenly unavailable, she accused my sister of manipulating the Tennessee Lottery Scholarship system and said that she would have to report her to TSAC. She said that she tried to contact them with no luck when really my mother talked to the man over the lottery scholarship himself and he tried to contact her and he had no luck. She had made my sister so upset she went out on the steps in front of the office and cried because, with the woman’s attitude, she felt that in not so many words that she was being told that she was stealing money from the state. I believe that you should know that this happened and I hope you do something about it. Furthermore I believe she does owe my sister, an apology for accusations that are completely not true. I know Lambuth itself is not a bad school but that one person herself has completely turned me off from your school.

I didn’t put names just b/c I didn’t want to go that far with this thread.
