WORST Colleges

Jeez, what a topic! Here are my views: college isn’t for everyone and there is no shame in learning a trade, getting a job and being a responsible citizen WITHOUT college. Second, the worst college is one that just doesn’t meet your kid’s needs. We’ve toured cream of the crop schools and found them snooty and ill suited to our daughter. Hence, the worst schools (for us) included elite traditionally revered colleges.

I would say HYP would be among the worst, with “Morehead university” being one of the best…well for us guys ;)

^^^^^
Morehead = Phil Sims, baby!

You do realize that eliminating schools with student bodies with SAT scores would only increase the national average until the only colleges left are those with the highest averages?

ok, i do agree that it’s ‘pathetic’ the way some of these scores are, but alot of what you’re saying is ignorant. there are some people who maybe needed wxtra help. alot of the people today who are very successful now weren’t so successful in their past. sometimes places that are know as the ‘worst colleges’ help them. theres a place for everyone

lmao check this baby out. University of Pal-Smith Southern Texas.

35% scored an act composite score of 16 or higher

45% have a gpa over 2.0

THIS IS SCARY, REMINDS ME OF HALLOWEEN

since nearly every job requires a college degree colleges with low admission standards have to open in order to produce those bachelor’s degrees that are in such high demand.

Nearly every job does not require a college degree. Only about 30% of the American public over the age of 25 has a college degree, and yet our unemployment rate is not 70%. It’s a myth that most jobs or even most “good” jobs require a bachelor’s degree.

UTEP. 99% acceptance rate, come on.

morandi, I couldn’t agree more, and congrats to you on your success.

To those who think it’s a waste of time to “scrape the barrel”: please provide a convincing argument as to why people should not be offered the opportunity to receive a post-high-school academic (not trade) education.
