<p>which is worse: a permanent triple or double with no a/c? If you get no a/c room can you bring a portable window unit to use? Does the permanent triple have furniture for three people?</p>
<p>I’d rather live in the permanent triple than have no A/C. It’s a bigger room than a double and does have furniture for 3. I lived in one last semester and it would’ve been pretty sweet if one of my roommates wasn’t the absolute most disgusting human being ever to live. There’s a large empty space in the middle of the room where you can throw a couch too.</p>
<p>The non A/C dorms are not bad. Usually its people that haven’t lived in them that have bad opinions of them. As a freshmen, I would pick perm triple over non A/C ONLY because you would meet more people on your floor in those dorms. The non A/C ones are designed where it is very hard to socialize and they usually have many upperclassmen.</p>
