worst garden pests

thistle and burlock are the most annoying…crabgrass is hard to remove

plantain is even harder to remove

Deer and bunnies are also hard to get rid of.

gophers too

bindweed, poison ivy, and moles.

expecially the poison ivy. it doesn’t have pretty flowers like bindweed or cute fuzziness like moles, just pure malice. >.<

plantain leaves just snap off when you try to pull them…burdock pokes you and gets stuck to everything

as for animals…GOPHERS!!! god

This is the WORST year for garden pests! This week alone, in our yard, I have seen a mother ground hog and her 5 babies, alot of bunnies, and evidence of voles tunneling unerground (I only see the voles when the cat catches one). I have also seen squirrels, a fox, and a flock of turkeys, but they don’t bother anything.

I totally gave up on planting anything, it all gets eaten in a few days.

Doesn’t it make you feel good that you are feeding the poor and needy?

The rabbits eat the garden…the coyotes eat the rabbits. Its a free for all out here!
