lol I luv this thread. If 10 people had to choose between Cornell engineering and Penn engineering, how many would choose cornell engineering?

Yeah, maybe so, but Harvard alumni continue to be be given those leadership opportunities (which, as you say, they keep failing). Other schools might have produced people who may have performed better, but we’ll never know that because they’re never really given the chance. I predict that after this financial crisis is over, the industry is still going to be dominated by Harvard alumni.

To all those who say Cornell is the worst ivy school, you don’t know much and therefore shouldn’t comment. Cornell is number 1 in hotel, agriculture, human ecology, veterinary science, labor relations (undergrad), architechture (undergrad) in the nation, and probably in the world. Its also number 1 in engineering in the Ivy League. in terms of majors, Cornell is top 5 in computer science in the country, number 4 in business (AEM), number 1 in animal science, food science, atmospheric science, and a whole bunch of other majors.

To AcceptedAlready: True, nothing beats wharton. but you noe what? wharton can kiss the Hotel School between its back pockets. True, schools like MIT is better than cornell in engineering. but the discussion is Ivy schools.

Although College of Arts and Sciences isnt comparable to HYP, it is one of the top programs. Just because it chooses to be least selective in order to fullfill Ezra Cornell’s mission, any person any study, so that it can provide the best education to as many ppl as possible does not make it the worst Ivy. In fact, this makes it the most admirable Ivy. I noe three other ivs that are below cornell.

Nice one, resurrecting this thread.
Humor us, then, with your opinion.
