Worth retaking a bad SAT math score?

Hello everyone!

I recently took the SAT, and got a score of 2210. My dilemma is that while my Critical Reading and Writing scores were high, 790 and 740 (missed one question and had a bad essay, sigh…), respectively, my math score is relatively low (680). I read around the forums for a bit, and the general consensus seems to be that anything above 2200 is not worth retaking. Does this still apply to my case? I plan to major in accounting or some form of biotechnology.

SAT is consistent, you would probably score around 680 again. Don’t retake even if you do think you should have done better. i got a 770 when I got a 800 on math on every practice test, but im not gonna retake it just to get a 800. good luck.
